Targeting the Charmer But what does this really mean? In 5e, things mean what they say. And in this case, attacking or doing something that is against the charmer specifically is what is outlawed. Much like the spell Sanctuary (PHB, 272) which states If the warded creature makes an attack or casts a spell that affects an enemy creature. the limitation here are actions that are targeting the charmer. If the spell, effect, item, action is targeting the charmer, then you can't do it. If it's not, then you can. What about Help? Help states (emphasis mine) You feint, distract the target, or in some other way team up to make your ally's attack more effective The first phrase clearly is not allowed by charm. You can't distract the Charmer directly because you can't target the Charmer. However, if you can figure out something that is distracting to everyone, then a DM may allow this action. Convincing Scenarios As always, DMs should be aware of using some mechanics to control players or allowing players to control NPCs more than they really should be able to may impact the fun had at the table.

Sabrina isn't the only iconic '90s witch making a comeback. It was announced in January that Charmed is returning to television. The CW says the feminist reboot will take place in a college town, and just like the original show, which ran on the same network for eight seasons, will revolve around three sisters who happen to be witches—though it hasn't been confirmed whether they'll also be Halliwells, like Prue (originally played by Shannen Doherty), Piper ( Holly Marie Combs), Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), or from an entirely new family altogether. Is there a trailer? Yes—a few, actually! The CW released an extended look at the new show during the 2018 Upfronts, and we got our first taste of the new sisters, who are dealing with quite a lot of mystery in their lives. We see two young women grieving the death of their mom, when another young woman arrives, claiming she's their sister. To make matters even more complicated, a stranger tells them that they're witches and that he's their advisor.

And watch the network's teasers below: So, who has been cast in the new coven? All three lead female characters have officially been cast, TV Guide reports, and the show will star Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz, and Sarah Jeffrey. British actress Mantock will play Macy, the oldest sister and a genius geneticist. Mantock previously starred in the CW's The Tomorrow People and AMC's Into the Badlands. Getty Images Diaz will play lesbian activist Mel Pruitt, the middle sister. ( IMDB lists Mel's last name as Pruitt, which would suggest this trio is not from the Halliwell family. ) You may have spotted the actress last year in VH1's The Breaks. Like her character, Diaz is an activist in her own right, and has actively supported the Time's Up movement and political initiatives via social media. Jeffrey will play the youngest sister, Madison, who is in her first year of college and desperately trying to join a campus sorority, meaning she is not excited to have discovered her new supernatural powers.
Imo the villains of season 2 were all really boring. Vivian and Juliann were bland and not charismatic and are not physical threats to the sisters. Abigail has some potential I guess but bounces between being too over the top with her villainy to not being very villainous at all being more of an anti-hero. Who's left after that? Godrick I guess? He sucked. Season 1 had better Villains imo ( Hunter, Charity, Fiona) but they were also mostly undercooked, and not enough was done with them. I personally think it would have been cool to use Charity as a Hannibal Lecter-type character, who the sisters would visit in Tartarus on occasion to get information from., but instead they just killed her off and wasted the potential of a good recurring villain. I really wish the show would have a Villain like Glory from Buffy someone who can be very entertaining but also threatening and intimidating when the situation calls for it
