Hustlers, based on the December 2015 New York Magazine story, follows a group of strippers in the late 2000s who grew frustrated with their Wall Street clients as they continued to live lavishly in the Global Financial Crisis, despite contributing to it. Photo / STX Films The insanely stacked cast also features Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians), Lili Reinhart (Riverdale), Lizzo, Keke Palmer (Scream Queens) and Julia Stiles (Riviera). "The game is rigged, and it does not reward people who play by the rules, " says Lopez' character in the trailer.
Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B and DJ Khaled take luxury to new extremes in the new video for "Dinero. " The Joseph Khan-directed clip is shot in black-and-white and puts a humorous spin on high-class life, with Lopez, in the opening moments, rolling a diamond-studded bowling ball down the hall of a mansion. Elsewhere, the pop star plays poker with a trio of shirtless hunks, walks her pet ostrich and roasts marshmallows with DJ Khaled over burning stacks of cash. When Cardi B arrives, she does some damage with a croquet mallet, hits the jackpot on a slot machine and lounges in bed with Lopez as they read issues of Time with their faces on the cover. "Dinero" arrived earlier this month and marked Lopez's third new song of 2018, following "El Anillo" and "Se Acabó El Amor, " which featured Abraham Mateo and Yandel. Lopez's last album A. K. A. arrived in 2014. She's reportedly prepping a Spanish language LP, Por Primera Vez, though a release date has yet to be announced.
Hustlers is released in New Zealand cinemas on October 10, 2019.

The first official trailer for 'Hustlers', which stars Cardi B, Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lizzo and Lili Reinhart has recently been released. The drama is based on the New York Magazine article "The Hustlers at Scores" by Jessica Pressler. "Hustlers follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients, " a press release for the film states. The release of the trailer was announced via the film's official Instagram page with a caption that read; " #HustlersMovie Official Trailer Hustling is a way of life. Check out the official trailer for #HustlersMovie starring @constancewu, @jlo, @missjuliastiles, @keke, @lilireinhart, @lizzobeeating, and @iamcardib – in theaters September. " The film which will mark Cardi's first movie appearance was written and directed by Lorene Scafaria and will be released on September 13th, 2019. The strippers from the Manhattan club Scores get back at their rich, abusive clients by racking up charges on their credit cards after they've passed out. The STX produced movie will collaborate with Jennifer Lopez as an actor and producer after the success of Second Act. On stage: Hustlers, an upcoming avenging stripper flick, is based on a true story of women working at Scores in New York City exacting revenge on abusive clients Production on Hustlers, which is also billed as The Hustlers at Scores, slated to begin in just a few days. Collider reported that the Invasion of Privacy rapper will play the character Serena who is one of Lopez's character's best friends who later becomes her close accomplice in the plot against their former clients. Additionally, the outlet says Stiles will play a journalist who befriends Wu's character. 'We could not have asked for a more exciting or talented lineup of performers to join our cast, ' said Adam Fogelson, Chairman of STXfilms. Kicking off! Production on Hustlers will begin later this week.
