The fact that they didn't give us any real percentage is what's so awful about this answer. Why is that an issue? Because that means that Blizzard doesn't have to make the packets random at all. As long as they don't over do it, Blizzard has no reason to actually "play fair". Hidden bonuses and hidden penalties could be applied all along, and still give 1 legendary every 20 packs "on average". Most companies use big data and classify consumers into buckets: Likely to spend more money this week Stays online during weekends Bought DLC last week About to leave the game forever Hasn't spent money in more than a year Really excited about last expansion And so on and so forth. There are many reasons to do this, and there is nothing nefarious about data mining. After all, there is nothing particularly wrong with trying to understand your clients better. A lot of useful features, like recommendations, relays on this pieces of information. However, what happens if those buckets were used to modify your chances as well?
I bought the game on the 1st of december for PC because, after playing the story mode on my brother ps4 when it came out 2 years ago, I always liked the "non-story" gameplay aspects of RDR, and the online experience seemed like an expansion on those. And it is 5€, so very cheap. I watched some youtube guides and I learned about the dailes gold nerf and that made me a little worried about having to grind to get roles. Today, after 2 weeks of playing mostly for about 2 hours after dinner, I am rank 61 and this evening I will unlock my last role, moonshiner, and I haven't spent 1 cent more than those initial 5€. Then I will just need 15 gold for the 2nd Bounty Hunter license. So, the grind isn't really THAT bad as it could seem and I think it would be good for people that started playing recently like me to hear some tips from someone that started from zero like them.
People are not nice, it turns out. Please stop PMing me terrible things.
This game is amazing. I've been watching it for years in early access (although I was not paying attention), but I've finally played it by having it "free" with the game pass. I've already beat it. Well, this is a true premium experience and the continuation of the first Pokémons. The metroidvania part is what pokémon with the "hidden movements" like cutting, swimming, etc to solve puzzles (only change the camera angle, here it is lateral, in pokémon the angle is zenith). Logically, this game is much smaller, and you don't have cities or gyms to visit, but you do have the Sanctuary (which is your base), which is VERY complete.
